THE FINAL DAYS OF 2009
The keys to my bicycle lock broke off into the lock itself. As a result, a brand new bike lock has been purchased. I have college tuition bills to pay. That would result to a strict limited budget that I need to follow. Creating a budget and sticking to it must be my New Years Day resolution for 2009. That college tuition debt must be paid off as quickly as possible. I don't like having financial debt hanging over my head constantly.

TYPING AWAY IN THE COMPUTER LAB IN THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
It's hard to imagine what life was like before the invention of desktop computers. It's even harder to imagine what life was like before the general public was allowed access to the internet. Yet, such possibilities were a reality when I was born. The first desktop computer was introduced when I was moving from Central Elementry School to Shepherd Junior High. The internet was first made available to the general public when I was starting college class. I still remember a time when people didn't use cell phones nearly so often. Yes, technology is moving past very quickly. With luck, the human race will be able to apply computer technology with maturity, dignity and grace.
IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER
It snowed for a little bit, but the snow didn't stick to the ground. I'm still working on my Christmas shopping. The Christmas shopping is going to be low budget. I can't afford to pay for anything too expensive. Minimum wage employment at K-Mart is my only source of income. It's not the greatest source of income, but it's better than nothing. New Years Day is only around the corner. Very soon, we'll be reaching the end of a decade. It's amazing how quickly time tends to fly right past.

WINTER IN CLEVELAND, OHIO
So begins my ninth month of residence in Cleveland, Ohio. I'm finally employed after seven months of unemployment. I'm working in the utility department at K-Mart. I'm overflowing with happiness that I'm finally employed again. It's great to earn a regular paycheck again. It's hard to believe that Christmas is almost here. Time has flown past way too quickly.
