GRAVEL AND WINE

Gin Wigmore was born under the name Virginia Wigmore in Auckland, New Zealand on June 6, 1986.   Peter Wigmore and Adrienne Wigmore are her father and mother.  Olly Wigmore is her older brother.  It isn't known if her sister Lucy Wigmore is older or younger because Lucy Wigmore's birthdate isn't available.  Lucy Wigmore is an actress more popular in New Zealand than in the United States where she starred in the thirteen (13) episode mini-series Razor and played Dr. Justine McKay (Her maiden name is Dr.  Justine Jones) on the popular New Zealand daytime soap opera Shortland Street (Which is about the day to day operation of a hospital).    Laurie Foell originated the character for one year before Lucy Wigmore took over the role for three more years before leaving the show.  As for Gin Wigmore, her career in the music industry almost nearly didn't happen.  She dropped out of the entertainment industry alltogether when her father Peter Wigmore died and she left New Zealand to teach kindergarten in Argentina as part of an exchange program.  The year 2004 brought Gin Wigmore back into the music industry when she won the International Songwriting Competition.  Her debut album, Extended Play, was released on 2008.  Her second album, Holy Smoke, was released on 2009.  Her third album, Gravel & Wine, was released on 2011.  Gin Wigmore continues to compose and perform music to this exact moment.
