WHEN IT'S WINTER

Up until now, Columbus, Ohio has been having a rather mild Winter. I've been watching all these horrific snow storm fiascos going on in other cities and in other states with smug satisfaction that Columbus, Ohio wasn't among them. Then I woke up and walked downstairs to see all this snow. Snow that wasn't supposed to stick to the ground (according to the television news reports) stuck to the ground. And so I needed to shovel the driveway twice. But yeah, I shoveled. And now the path is clear and free of snow. I woke up again and found that no further snow shoveling was needed. Which is kind of nice. The Gentle Reader and I will find out if such luck continues to hold up in the hours, days and week ahead.

RELAXATION

Lindsay Armaou enjoys a relaxing meal at a restaurant in Lake Como located in Lombardy, Italy.

Lindsay Armaou isn't the only member of the rock band B*Witched to enjoy a vacation.  Keavy Lynch also had a vacation of her own to Las Vegas, Nevada.  I'm not sure if she got to see any shows, but she got to gamble a bit and see some of the surrounding sights.  It's good to relax now and then.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER NEW YEARS DAY

So what happens after New Years Day. The year 2013 has now been left behind in the dust covered past. The year 2014 is now the current reality. I now have twelve months of blank emptiness to fill up. To be filled up with what exactly? I'm not sure yet. I'm sure that I'll figure something out. It's cold outside. It's Winter after all. No snow has fallen. That's good. Summer will arrive soon. Until then, there's still the cold Winter weather outside all around me. It's good weather for polar bears and penguins.
