THE FIRST LIGHT OF DAYTIME

And I awoke this morning.  And it's still dark outside, but it won't stay that way.  Soon the sun will rise.  And soon, the rising sun will produce daylight.  And the daylight from the rising sun will illuminate the sky.  At first, the sky will be illuminated in a spectacular splash of color.  But then the sky will settle into a deep shade of blue---Providing that there isn't any clouds above me.  Perhaps there won't be any clouds above me.  If there are no clouds above me then the sky will be a deep shade of blue.  And so I await the rising sun.  I shall see what today shall bring.

NOVEMBER 2017

It doesn't feel warm outside anymore.  It's getting colder.  I don't feel the Winter chill.  It's more of the Autumn chill.  It's far better to wear a coat when embarking outside.  At times, it's still warm outside.  But those days are getting rare and far in between.  It's not yet time for snow to arrive.  That will arrive next month.  It's that time of the year again.  It's the time of the year in which we prepare for Thanksgiving Day.  It's that time of the year in which we prepare for Christmas and Hanukkah.  It's the time of the year in which the year 2017 comes to an end.  It's the time of the year in which we prepare for the year 2018.  The year 2018 is coming less than two months from now.  Whatever can only be done in the year 2017, you better hurry up and get it done because time is running out.  Until then, it's Autumn and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
