SCARLETT JOHANSSON AND GWYNETH PALTROW HELPS THE AVENGERS FIGHT CRIME IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

And so the Marvel Comics super-hero film The Avengers continue to be filmed in Cleveland, Ohio. The Avengers features Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Will you look at this mess. Somebody out there in the comic book universe doesn't like drinking Dr. Pepper soda pop.  I don't understand why.

Joss Whedon, the man who created and produced Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly and it's theatrical motion picture continuation Serenity is also director of the super-hero comic book film The Avengers.  Here he is signing autographs.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finally joins Captain America (Chris Evans) in battle against very bad people dressed in motion capture suits.  Monsters from outer space will be added later.

The Avengers will be released in movie theaters worldwide on May 4, 2012.
