The backlawn is getting longer. However, it's cold and the ground is wet and muddy. It would still be hard to push the lawnmower along with such a soggy ground. The backlawn that's closer to the house dries the quickest. The backlawn that's further away from the house dries the slowest. Does that have anything to do with the clay that's found in the backyard soil? Is there something about clay that keeps water in longer. The larger quantity the clay, the harder it is to dry? I don't know much about soil, but it's something to keep in the back of my mind.
