WINTER IS GONE AND HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH SUMMER

There really wasn't much ice and snow to start with.  However, if snow and ice wanted to take Winter 2011 to 2012 seriously, the opportunity has passed it by.  With Memorial Day having come and gone, Summer is officially here.  In other words, snow and ice really have blown it by not taking Winter 2011 to 2012 seriously.  Once again, the lack of serious Winter weather left me with mixed emotions.  On one side, the lack of snow and ice made my life without a car and a bike that keeps getting flat tires (With the bike wheel ironically getting worse and worse with each progressive bike repair) much easier.  However, the lack of snow and ice made me worried about Global Warming and the Greenhouse Effect.  Well, with Summer 2012 finally here, it's all in the past.  What's here now is outdoor swimming pools, filling out job application forms, trees sprouting leaves, flowers in bloom and nature coming to life again.  Ah yes, life has returned to Earth and all is right with the world.  Gentle Reader, Auttumn is just around the corner, but we're not going to think about that.  Let's enjoy Summer while it's here and take in all the perfection that Summer has to offer.
