THOUGHTS ABOUT NOTHING ON A THURSDAY AFTERNOON

I can talk to you about something surreal.  I can talk to you about something that's realistic.  I can be happy, sad, angry or grim.  I can complain about going nowhere fast.  I can complain that I do want to be employed and that I've filled out lots of job application forms, but I still need unemployment compensation because I have yet to find permenent employment that lasts longer than between four hours to four days maximum.  However, if you made up your mind against me, then there's nothing my words can do if you're married to such a thought process.  I can only argue my side of the story and hope that somebody who is willing to listen to me gets the chance to read what I've said.  Even if one person has been enlightened by these words, then the process of setting up an Internet blog will be more than worth it.  And yes, I hope to be employed.  And yes, I hope to get my life back on track.  The Great Recession isn't just rough on me, but the Great Recession is rough for everybody.  Someday going backwards won't be viewed as going forward, but rather going forward will be viewed as going forward.  I need confidence that I have what it takes to be employed again.
