THE AFTERMATH OF THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Gentle Reader, I'm not really good at remembering numbers.  I'm great when it comes to remembering names, but I'm not any good at memorizing numbers.  Ok, so it goes like this.  Democratic Party President Barack Obama won the Presidential elections by 303 Electoral College votes.  Republican Party challenger Mitt Romney lost the Presidential elections by 206 Electoral College votes.  Yes, it was a very close race in the first half of the evening, only to turn into a landslide election in favor of President Barack Obama in the second half of the evening.  So November 6, 2012 is one for the history books.  This is the first time that an African-American got elected for two terms as President of the United States.  No other African-American got to serve as President of the United States let alone serve eight years in the White House.  It's a huge step forward for racial equality.  Nobody knows what's going to happen in the next Presidential Elections in 2016 and that's thankfully four years away from today.  Right now, the Gentle Reader and I will enjoy the fantastic moment in which the liberal Democratic Party continues to have control over the White House for four more years and the United States Senate for a few more years also.
And I celebrate the successes of the Democratic Party, here are some photos of film actress Cameron Diaz.
