HER CARNIVAL LOVE IS PURE

Amy Correia was born in Lakeville, Massachusetts on September 12, 1968.  Upon graduating   Barnard College, she found employment doing corporate advertisement while living in the Chinatown district of New York City.  When evening fell, she started her second form of employment which was to perform songs in small clubs including Sin-é Cafe (Irish for That's It Cafe).  Amy Correia encountered Blind Melon guitar player Christopher Thorn at Sin-é Cafe and he helped get her signed to Virgin Records.  Amy Correia recorded one ep album, Transportation Songs (2000), and three full length albums, Carnival Love (2000), Lakeville (2004) and You Go Your Way (2010).  Amy Correia is still recording and performing to this exact moment.
