LIFE GOES ON

LeAnn Rimes Cibrian was born under the name Margaret LeAnn Rimes in  Jackson, Mississippi on August 28, 1982.  Wilbur Rimes and his wife Belinda (maiden name Butler) Rimes along with their only child LeAnn didn't stay in Jackson, Mississippi.  It was at the young age of six (6) when the family of three moved to Garland, Texas.  Wilber Rimes became impressed by LeAnn's musical ability and made it his ambition to make a famous rock star out of his elementary school age daughter.  She originally wanted to be a Broadway actress.  And while still attending elementary school, she competed in the Ed McMahon (Johnny Carson's sidekick on the Tonight Show) reality competition talent show game show Star Search.  She came close to winning, but ultimately got voted off quickly.  She sang the national anthem for the Dallas Cowboys while still attending elementary school at age nine (9).  While in sixth grade at the age of eleven, she landed a three album recording contract from Nor Va Jak record label starting in 1991 and ending in 1996.  It wasn't known if LeAnn Rimes ever attended either junior high or high school because her fourth album, Blue, was a blockbuster smash (Billboard Country Chart ranked her at number ten at the time).   Both her father (Who drove her around the country trying to make her a huge star) and former manager  Lyle Walker were sued by LeAnn Rimes on May 21, 2000 for taking more than the agreed upon share of her recording contract earnings.  She sued her record label Asylum-Curb for the same reasons, tried and failed to get released from her contract (She got a new contract which expires on April 9, 2013 with the release of her album Spitfire).  It's not known if LeAnn Rimes and her father are still talking to each other after she sued him for financial damages.
Backup Dancer Dean Sheremet fell in love with LeAnn Rimes while she was hosting the 2001 Academy of Country Music Awards.  They married the next year in 2002.  While still married to Dean Sheremet, LeAnn Rimes fell in love and started making out with race car driver Eddie Cibrian (who was married to Brandi Glanville at the time) in 2009.  Dean Sheremet separated from from LeAnn Rimes in 2009 and they divorced that same year.  The adultry scandal also ruined Eddie Cibran's marriage and it too ended in divorce.  LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibran were engaged on December 27, 2010 and married on April 22, 2011.  Anxiety and stress pushed LeAnn Rimes over the edge and into rehab on August 29, 2012.  And with her new album to be released on April 9, 2013, she has another world tour to start work on for the promotion of her brand new album.
