LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

Linda Davis was born in Dotson, Texas on November 26, 1962.  Singing on a radio show while only six years old was her music industry debut.  Skipping college, she relocated from Dotson, Texas to Nashville, Tennessee where she formed a duet with Skip Eaton to form the rock group duet Skip and Linda.  Only three minor hit singles were scored before the duet broke up before they could release an actual full length album.  Her debut solo album was released in 1988 and her latest album was released on 2007.  Linda Davis album Family Christmas is a trio based recording filled with Christmas carol standards recorded with her lawfully wedded spouse Country music singer Lang Scott and her daughter Hillary Scott




















Hillary Scott is the daughter of Linda Davis and Lang Scott.  Hillary Scott was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 1, 1986.  While on tour with her mother Linda Davis while she was on tour, Hillary Scott was homeschooled.  She attended regular school at Donelson Christian Academy for elementry school, junior high and high school all the way through.  And while her parents Linda Davis and Lang Scott constantly toured to support albums, Hillary Scott was raised by her grandparents.  And when she graduated in 2004, Hillary Scott skipped college to become a rock star.  Hillary Scott formed Lady Antebellum with Charles Kelley (The brother of Josh Kelley and the brother-in-law of Katherine Heigl) and Dave Haywood.  Lady Antebellum made their debut in 2006 and was signed to Capitol Nashville on 2007.  Lady Antebellum released their debut album in 2008 and released their latest album in 2013.  Hillary Scott is married to recording sessions employed drummer Chris Tyrrell on January 7, 2012.  Lady Antebellum is recording and going on tour to support their music to this exact moment.
