THAT WASN'T HER
Brandi Carlile was born in Ravensdale, Washington on June 1, 1981. A child prodigy, she was singing at age eight, playing the guitar at age fifteen and writing songs also at age fifteen. The next year found her singing backup for an Elvis Impersonator. Brandi Carlile cited attention deficite disorder as the primary reason why she dropped out of high school and never sought after a General Education Degree (GED). Not wanting to live in Ravensdale, Washington with her family, Brandi Carlile relocated to Seattle, Washington while still a teenager. Joined by and Phil Hanseroth (Who are twin brothers), Brandi Carlile toured the nightclubs of Seattle, Washington before being signed up for a recording contract in 2003. Her debut album was released in 2004. Her latest album was released in 2012. Brandi Carlile continues to record albums and go on tour to this exact moment of time.
