Taylor Swift was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1989. Both of her parents worked for the financial industry with her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, as financial adviser to Merrill Lynch and her mother, Andrea Swift, once marketed mutual funds before becoming a housewife instead. She also has a younger brother named Austin. The Swift Family relocated to Cumru Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania where they ran a Christmas Tree farm as well as being involved in the financial industry. Preschool and Kindergarten was educated by Franciscan Nuns at the Alvernia Montessori School before continuing her education at the more secular but still privately run The Wyndcroft School. The Swift Family sold the Christmas Tree farm and relocated to the non-farm related suburbs at Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Taylor continued her education at the West Reading Elementary Center and later at the Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School. At age eleven, Taylor Swift got tired of taking classes, doing homework and other school related activities. So she dropped out of school with her parents permission. Taylor Swift traveled with her mother Andrea Swift to Nashville, Tennessee to seek a career as a country music rock star. Her family relocated to Hendersonville, Tennessee while Taylor Swift was a permanent resident of Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen. She was homeschooled through a private Christian school called Aaron Academy and received a GED so she can continue to seek fame and fortune as a rock star. Taylor Swift signed with Big Machine Records and released her debut album in 2006, her second album in 2008, her third album in 2010 and her fourth album in 2012. Taylor Swift continues to record and tour to this exact moment of time.
