AFTER THE RAIN

The rain stopped falling when night replaced the day.  And with darkness covering the land, the rain has stopped and drier weather has prevailed.  And so continues the adventures of the life of the single unwed professional minimum wage employment laborer Steven Post Hitchcock.  And without a wife or children, my life and expenses are rather simple by nature.  And being an honest person without so much as a bug stain on my record, my life is even easier.  A lot more can be accomplished when it's being done with honesty.  And what the future will bring to me isn't known.  What is known is that the rain has stopped falling and night prevailed against the day.  Say hello to the moon, the sun and the sound of crickets.  And the crickets shall make their song as they jump across the still wet and soggy fields of grass.  The moist grass and soil are home to the crickets and they are thankful for the rain.  And after a drink of water, the crickets are free along their journey.  And I hear the sound of the crickets with happiness in my heart.  Ah yes, today has been a good day and the rain was a good rain.
And as I'm lost in thought after the rain has fallen, here are some photos of Rashida Jones.  Rashida Jones is the daughter of legendary African-American jazz musician and album producer Quincy Jones.  Rashida Jones is also the daughter of Caucasian born actress Peggy Lipton famous for being in the original version of the police procedural television series the Mod Squad.
