A LOOK BACK AT THE FIRST SEASON OF TAXI BROOKLYN
And so concludes the first season of the police procedural television series entitled Taxi Brooklyn starring Chyler Leigh as Detective Cat Sullivan and Jacky Ido as Leo Romba. Taxi Brooklyn also featured Jennifer Esposito as Dr. Monica Pena (Who also co-starred in the fifth theatrical motion picture that the television series is based upon under the name of Lt. Marta Robbins). And though the first season of Taxi Brooklyn only lasted twelve episodes, there's always hope that the long awaited second season will have a longer episode running time. Until then, the Gentle Reader and I have our memories of all twelve episodes of the first season of Taxi Brooklyn until it's released on digital video disk. And with luck, all twelve episodes of the first season of Taxi Brooklyn will be released on digital video disk as soon as possible. Come on, admit it. The first season of Taxi Brooklyn was one of the coolest television shows. A television show where a female police homicide detective has to travel around town in a taxi cab because she lost her drivers license has lots of promise and cool stylish tension to last for a very long time. Or to put it another way, think about Taxi Brooklyn as an alternate version of Castle in which Rick Castle, the civilian consultant to the New York City Police Department is a tall African-French immigrant who drives a taxi cab when he isn't helping out the New York City Police Department with their latest crime investigation.
