There was a cluster of dandelion weeds growing in a field of grass. And people would walk past the cluster of dandelion weeds with a mixture of horror and disgust. One day, a heroic person did something about the dandelion weeds. A dandelion weed was pulled out of the ground roots and all one by one until only one dandelion weed was left out of over two hundred and fifty dandelion weeds. And try as he might, the heroic protagonist of our story never could pull out the dandelion weeds roots and all. So then Winter came. The Alberta Clipper ended Summer and caused the outside temperature to plunge to twenty degrees below zero. And the last surviving dandelion weed froze and died under all the snow and the ice. And everybody celebrated the end of all dandelion weeds in the grassy field. I don't know the moral of the story, but it's a fun story to tell.
And as I'm lost in thought during the freezing cold days of Winter, here are some photos of Abbie Cornish.
