AFTER THE THUNDERSTORM

And yes, there was a thunderstorm pounding across the city of Columbus, Ohio.  However, the thunderstorm ended a few hours ago.  And all that's left is the cloudy sky above me.  And yes, it might rain again, but it isn't raining now.  Or rather, it won't rain for the rest of today at any rate.  And who knows what tomorrow will bring.  The future can be unpredictable.  It's easy to make a few vague guesses, but sometimes the vague guesses can be slightly wrong.  Sometimes the vague guesses isn't even remotely similar to the prediction.  There is a calm after the thunderstorm if the Gentle Reader is patient enough to wait for it.  However, dealing with impatience while the rain is falling can be rough sometimes.  The key to survival is learning to enjoy the falling rain as a form of awe inspiring beauty.
