CALM IS THE NIGHT

Calm is the night.  Silent are the suburban streets of Columbus, Ohio.  Tranquil is the grassy field behind the house next to the Three Warehouses.  This is a long way from the city.  This is a city that does go to sleep at night.  And as the suburban houses go dark one by one, I find myself getting tired as well.  And so I type the last few sentences before posting this blog entry.  After which, I'll get some much needed sleep before greeting a brand new day with enthusiasm and gusto.  Welcome night.  Welcome darkness.  Welcome moon.  Welcome stars.  I always enjoyed the calm, quiet darkness of night in the suburbs.
