THE 38TH ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS GALA AT THE KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

Carole King has had an impressive career starting in 1958 and still going strong with seventeen albums and countless hit songs.  So it made sense that when President Barack Obama made choices about who to give this years Kennedy Center Honors Award to, he chose Carole King to have the distinctive honor of being inducted into the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors.  And so at the 2015 edition of the Kennedy Center Honors Gala at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Carole King was given the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor by the President of the United States.
