THE LATEST MISS UNIVERSE SCANDAL

The 2014 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant almost didn't happen when former co-owner of the Pageant and current Republican Party front runner for the job of President of the United States Donald Trump got into trouble with making what could be interpreted as racist remarks against Hispanics and later against Muslims as well as making remarks which could be interpreted as being sexist against women. Liberals and members of the Democratic Party thought it was tasteless that Donald Trump would be investing in a Beauty Pageant after making tasteless remarks which some people would view as being sexist.
The 2015 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant got rid of Donald Trump as an investor, but still got into trouble anyway. Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez was crowned Miss Universe for all of two minutes and five seconds until Miss Universe Beauty Pageant host Steve Harvey realized that he read his card wrong and said that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez was actually the runner up. Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was the actual winner. I'm not sure if the Beauty Pageant host Steve Harvey's epic fail will result in any lawsuits from Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez resulting from her brief two minute and five second tenure as Miss Universe, but it sure makes for exciting television
