AGENT PEGGY CARTER DOESN'T NEED TO HELP OUT CAPTAIN AMERICA BECAUSE SHE LEARNED TO SURVIVE WITHOUT HIM

While an unnamed woman who resembled Peggy Carter appeared in the Marvel comic book Young Allies #1 in Summer 1941, Peggy Carter never actually had any involvement in any World War II era Captain America comic book stories.  The actual first ever appearance of Peggy Carter was in Tales of Suspense #75 and Tales of Suspense #77 in May 1966 before showing up as a guest star for a third time in Captain America #161 on May 1973.  But there was never a time when the comic book version of Peggy Carter had the comic book version of Steve Rogers aka Captain America.  Instead, the comic book version of Peggy Carter had always been viewed as a romance wrecking has been who's time with Captain America has come and gone and will never be recreated ever again with her sister Sharon Carter being viewed as the real deal girlfriend.  Poor Peggy Carter had to wait until films and television before she was allowed to be something other than a border-line evil acting romance wrecking villain who refuses to believe that her romance with Captain America has come and gone without any hope of restoration.  Admit it, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter is a lovely sight to behold.
