So it's official. The United Kingdom has left the European Union. Never mind the fact that the European Union didn't get started until the Maastricht Treaty all the way back in 1992. The lack of an European Union before 1992 didn't cause a stock market crash nor caused an economic recession that plunged the world into an economic darkness. But because the United Kingdom left the European Union yesterday, the crash of the stock market and the cause of an economic recession that plunges the world into economic darkness is now expected. There's nothing that the citizens of the United States of America can do about this. Us Americans can't invade the United Kingdom and keep bombing the country until the United Kingdom rejoins the European Union. There is no economic policies the White House nor Capitol Hill could pass to deal with this either. I guess we're just going to have to get used to the United Kingdom not being in the European Union anymore without economically going to pieces over it.
And as I'm lost in thought about the final fate and destiny of the European Union, here are some photos of Alessandra Ambrosio.
