THE DARKNESS OF NIGHT

And so I sit on the porch.  And it's daytime when I first sit on the porch.  And I look at the day lit world around me as I sit on the porch.  Then night falls gradually.  Daylight fades away a little bit at a time.  Then it's the dark of night.  I'm still seated at the porch.  I'm still looking at the world around me.  But now it's a world shrouded by night.  And there's total darkness everywhere.  No sun.  Just the moon and the stars.  And in the night, I'm feeling calm and relaxed.  Tonight is going to be a wonderful evening.  I just feel it.  I totally feel it.
