THE 2018 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES

The United States has been trailing behind Norway, Germany and Canada for most of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.  It's doubtful that the United States has any hope of cracking into the top three within the limited two and a half week time limit that the 2018 Winter Olympic Games allow.  One of the few events that the United States of America has done well in has been the Cross-Country Skiing---Women's Team Sprint.  The team duet of Kikkan Randall and Jessica Diggins won the gold medal for the United States.  The team duet of Charlotte Kalla and Stina Nilsson won the silver medal for Sweden.  The team duet of Marit Bjørgen and Maiken Caspersen Falla won the bronze medal for Norway.  And so comes time to pop open bottles of Champaign as the United States won another gold medal to add to the gold medal count that the country is starting to accumulate.
