A quick look at the calendar will draw attention to a unique once in a century occasion.  Today is the fourteenth day of the fourth month of the fourteenth year of the century.  In other words, today's date is 4/14/14.  And it's only going to last until midnight today before it's all gone.  I'm not sure how to celebrate such an occasion on a limited budget.  Still, it's a monumental occasion that shouldn't be overlooked.  The number four might be crucial to somebody's life agenda.  I'm not sure what type of life agenda that might be, but hey, it's the fourteenth day of the fourth month of the fourteenth year.  It's not exactly the seventh daughter of the seventh dynasty of the seventh republic type of occasion, but it's pretty much close to it.

WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2000---1899 STYLE

Gentle Reader, it's hard to predict the future.  We bet the farm that the year 2015 and the year 2030 will end up one way, the future goes the opposite direction.  Take those who were alive in breathing in the year 1899.  In preperation for the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris, eight-seven visionaries including Jean-Marc Cote were asked to predict what Paris, France will look in the year 2000.  And for those who really are living in the year 2000 and beyond into the year 2012, we get to see if Jean-Marc Cote predictions for the year 2000 was even vagely close to the world that we're living in.
