Pet dogs are interesting creatures. Take my Mom's pet dogs Furby the Furball and Elaina Baina for instance. Both dogs have identical rawhide bones. Both rawhide bones have the same size, weight and rawhide content. However, while Furby the Furball will defend her rawhide bone to the death from Elaina Baina, Elaina Baina wants Furby's rawhide bone only because it's owned by Furby. It won't matter if Elaina Baina already has a rawhide bone of the same size, weight and rawhide content. A rawhide bone is only interesting to Elaina Baina if it's owned by somebody else. Perhaps Elaina Baina will gnaw and nibble on her bone on her semi frequent attempts to take Furby the Furball's bone away. Personally, I don't understand why canine creatures are so interested in rawhide bone to start with. Rawhide bones doesn't appear to have a pleasent taste to it. However, I'm not a canine creature so I can't possibly understand the psychology of a canine creature. So two rawhide bones are purchased with hopes that each canine creature will stick with each's respective rawhide bone with a minimal of trouble. I'm not sure what this has to do with 2012 edition of Memorial Day aside from the fact that I'm writing this blog entry on the 2012 edition of Memorial Day.
