ALMOST NON-STOP RAIN

I woke up to thunder and falling rain. Then it stopped raining an hour after I woke up. And it continued to free of rain until I started to walk to the public library. And then the rain started to fall again. And it continued to rain until recently. I have the wet pants that I'm still hoping would air dry out to show for it. Yes, I should've brought along an umbrella, but I honestly didn't think that I'd need it. Besides, I do have a fedora and a rain proof coat instead. I'm not sure if it's going to rain more than I've seen already. I'm ready for the rain if it does plummet from the heavens again.
