Pentagon chief Leon Panetta has ended the belief that only men are allowed to fight in the front lines of a war while women can only do support functions. Now women can fight in the front lines too. That means that an all female miltary platoon can fight against Islamic soldiers in either Syria or Iran sometime soon. And while I'm under the opinion that waging war against anybody is a really huge mistake that's better not being done, letting women fight in the front lines of military combat is a huge advance in women's rights. Everything else is co-ed these days. Why not make military platoons fighting in the front lines co-ed as well.
