And so today is the twenty-first day of October. November is getting closer. And when Halloween has concluded, then will arrive the slow and gradual march towards Thanksgiving. It's Autumn and it will be that way for roughly one month and a week. Originally, Autumn was three months long, but September has passed and October has progressed quite a bit. So soon it will be only November left in Autumn before that season is done. Winter is getting closer. And while those living in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California and other southern states never has to worry about Winter, I'm in Ohio. Thankfully, Columbus, Ohio tends to have a rather mild Winter. So there probably won't be much snow to shovel from the driveway. And that's one thing that I'm thankful for as the outside temperature drops as Autumn progresses.
And as I'm lost in thought on a cold Autumn day, here are some photos Natalie Portman.
