THE DAY TWO GENIUSES MET ONE ANOTHER

And today was the day that Patti Smith met John Belushi for the first time ever.  And the first ever encounter between Patti Smith and John Belushi proved to be legendary.  Because the collaboration between these two entertainment industry legends proved to be a fertile ground for some of the best moments the entertainment industry has ever produced.  Among the legendary collaborations between the two involve three more Blues Brothers films, playing the main villain in the James Belushi and Arnold Schwarzenegger sequel film Red Heat II (Which had James Belushi as Det. Sgt. Art Ridzik traveling to Arnold Schwarzenegger as Capt. Ivan Danko native Russian located police station to prevent John Belushi's fictional character from nuking the Kremlin).  Let's not forget a joint guest star role in the ninth season of the sitcom According to Jim episode entitled According to John which not only featured John Belushi's first ever guest appearance in the sitcom, but proved to be a lucrative nine season long spinoff sitcom for John Belushi to launch his successful career comeback on.
