Mad Max came first in 1979.
The Road Warrior came second in 1981.
Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome came third in 1985. It's weird mixture of combining the Biblical story of Moses with the teen film the Hunger Games (with an orphanage of children stuck in the middle) may have been ahead of it's time and almost certainly killed off the franchise. There wouldn't be another
Mad Max film for the next thirty years.
One of the reasons that Charlize Theron has ended up with her cute and adorable pixie gamine hairstyle was
Mad Max: Fury Road (To be released next year in 2015). Charlize Theron shaved off her hair into a military style crew cut style for her role as the one armed self styled rebel Imperator Furiosa. Charlize Theron's role in the film is mostly uncertain. Some people claim that Imperator Furiosa is the main villain. Other people claim that Imperator Furiosa is the girlfriend sidekick and that Immortan Joe is the main villain. The Gentle Reader and I will know for certain next year when Mad Max returns after a massive thirty year absence.

Mad Max is beating up people in a fist fight to the death. Is he capable of getting along with anybody?
Imperator Furiosa needs to take a bath because the top part of her head is very very dirty. I don't know what happened. Her head was much cleaner at the start of the film. Also, what happened to her road tripping crew?
