Can you imagine life before the invention of the refrigerator? I have no idea how such an existence would be considering that I was born on February 15, 1968. I heard that before the invention of the refrigerator, food was placed next to a giant ice cube. Or food would be placed in glass jars in as close to a cave-like environment as possible. Or it was heavily seasoned or heavily salted (Sometimes both) to disguise the fact that the food item was sitting at room temperature. Storing food used to be a game of Russian roulette. Thankfully, with the invention of the refrigerator, eating food is no longer a risky adventure. And the world is safer because of it.
And as I'm lost in thought while storing food in the fridge, here are some photos of Blake Lively.
