Halloween is over and now it's time for the slow preparation for Thanksgiving Day. However, Thanksgiving Day is still roughly a month away and this is still roughly the first week of November. And on Thursday on the first week of November bore witness to the falling rain. Well, there wasn't rain and then there was rain. The rain stopped falling as darkness covered the land. And so Thursday slowly evolves into Friday. So is it better if it rains when it's scorching hot outside or is it better if it rains when it's cold outside. I enjoy rain no matter the outside temperature because rain prevents the possibility of drought. Rain prevents lakes, rivers and streams from drying up. Rain is good for fish, plants and ducks. Rain is better when it's scorching hot outside, but I won't mind if it rains when it's cold outside. And freezing cold rain is better when I'm indoors drinking a steaming mug of hot chocolate complete with marshmallows.
And as I'm lost in thought on a partially rain soaked Thursday on the first week of November, here are some photos of McKayla Maroney.
