SOUND PLUS VISION OR JUST PLAIN SOUND

Is music better if it's paired up with music video visuals or is music better if it's simply an audio experience.  In the past, the Gentle Reader had no choice.  The song was heard when either the album was played on the stereo system or the song was played on the radio.  That was it.  Now there is the option of actually getting to see what the music performer looks like with the option of viewing the music video.  Now I'm torn on the issue because music videos is just as fun as listening to the album on the stereo system or hearing the song on the radio.  So now the options for enjoying music is expanded upon with better options.  And the radio used to be heard only on the actual radio.  But now radio can be heard on the Internet.  Let's not forget IPods rendering Walkman's obsolete.  Technology is moving faster than ever.  It's interesting to see what varieties for enjoying music will be available in the days, weeks, months, years and decades to come.
