IT IS NIGHT

It's night.  It will continue to be night for a few more hours.  Daytime will eventually return, but it won't return anytime soon.  Daytime won't return anytime soon for your requirements and needs.  So sit back and enjoy the darkness of the night.  What's that?  The light is going out in your flashlight and the light bulb burned out in your table lamp.  That's ok.  Light a candle instead.  What's that?  You don't have matches to light your candle?  Sorry, I can't help you out with that one.  Enjoy the darkness.  You'll get the chance to purchase spare light bulbs and flashlight batteries later.  Too bad you don't have a spare right now.  Still, it is night.  The creatures of the night are out there to enjoy the night under the glow of the moon light.

...Only to be killed off in the first and only episode that she was ever allowed to have her name added to the opening credits sequence.  Alyson Hannigan didn't take Amber Benson's fictional death scene very well.  Amber Benson's fictional death scene was a surprise death scene that nobody was expecting.  Teenage high school dramas about vampires can have tragic lethal consequences.  Warren the normal human being may need to kill Alyson Hannigan too before her fictional character skins him alive.  Ouch.
