DISTURBIA

On April 13, 2007, DreamWorks Movie Studios released the action/suspense/horror film Disturbia starring Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer.  Essentially, the film is a carbon copy clone replica of the classic Alfred Hitchcock film Rear Window with Shia LaBeouf under house arrest instead of Jimmy Stewart in a wheel chair with a broken leg.  But the basic premise is the same.  Shia LaBeouf as Kale Brecht believes the next door neighbor is a murder and is collecting evidence long distance with surveillance equipment.  Sarah Roemer as Ashley Carlson is only going along with it so she can disprove it later on only to find out that Shia LaBeouf's character was right all along.  And so begins a cat and mouse with a serial killer who fails to realize that two teenagers are watching him long distance with surveillance equipment---Or perhaps he's aware and is waiting for the chance to get rid of two witnesses who know too much.  The one thing that's for certain is that Sarah Roemer isn't going down without the toughest fight to the death.
