PERHAPS SNOW

The loss of Summer becomes even more evident.  And as the temperature plunges and the rain falls, rumors of a light dusting of snow from the local television evening news.  And if there is a light dusting of snow, it hasn't happened yet.  Or perhaps the light dusting of snow has happened, but it's hard to tell because it's dark outside.  And yes, night has fallen.  So I'll know for certain if snow has fallen when morning arrives.  However, morning and the subsequent daylight is still a few hours from now.  So I guess I'll just make guesses about what the morning snow will be like until the blessed daylight finally arrives.
