It all changed on January 2, 1971 when the United States Government banned tobacco advertisements on television and radio. That meant that Big Tobacco wasn't allowed to make corporate investments into television shows in return for tobacco related product placement images. It was possible to have drugs that help you kick the nicotine and tobacco habit make corporate investments into television shows in return for images of people kicking the tobacco habit, but Big Tobacco was only allowed to run print commercials exclusively. Since I was born on 1968, my whole life would've been spent trying to find something OTHER THAN BIG TOBACCO TO MAKE A CORPORATE INVESTMENT INTO MY FIRST EVER TELEVISION SHOW SINCE TELEVISION COMERCIALS PROMOTING TOBACCO USE WAS DECLARED ILLEGAL BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA GOVERNMENT ON JANUARY 2, 1971. So the pilot episode of my first ever television show continues to be elusive. I guess I have to take the trash to the trash dumpster, wash dishes and bus tables a bit longer then expected. Gosh darn the luck.
And as I'm lost in thought as I celebrate my refusal to smoke cigarettes, here are some photos of Rosabell Laurenti Sellers
