Today is the day to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Today wasn't the end of King George III's tenure as monarch of Great Brittan, but rather today was the start of the war which ended it all. Today isn't the end of the War of Independence, but rather today was the first day of the war. And when it was over, Great Brittan's King George III was forced to surrender, allow the Thirteen Colonies become the United States of America and was committed to a lunatic asylum. Great Brittan's King George III remained in his lunatic asylum cell ever since. As for the local fireworks show, I wasn't sure if it was even going to happen. It was raining off and on mostly as a drizzle. The rain only just stopped falling long enough for the local fireworks to actually start. I didn't have far to travel. The local fireworks could easily be viewed from the backyard porch of the House That I'm Living In. I'm also able to see the New York City, New York fireworks show on television.
While I'm lost in thought on the Fourth of July, here are some photos of Hayden Panettiere.
