LOVE ME LIKE YOU MEAN IT

Kelsea Nicole Ballerini was born in Mascot, Tennessee on September 12, 1993.  However, she didn't stay there and her family relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee.  A product of a duel income household, her mother was so filled by the spirit of Christianity, that she worked for a sponsorship company as well as being employed by Thomas Nelson Bible publishing.  Her Italian descended father was a programmer for a country music radio station.  With her father having links to Country Music radio, Kelsea moved towards a career in the entertainment industry.  She started taking ballet lessons at age three and stopped her ballet lessons at age 13.  School and church choir singing fueled her desire for a career in the entertainment industry even when her interest in ballet started to fade.  She wrote her first song at age twelve and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to get a recording contract.  It's not known if she ever graduated junior high nor is it known if she ever graduated high school.  While she was living in Nashville, Tennessee, she attended the nearby Lipscomb University only to drop out of college at the end of her sophomore year and never looked back.  She signed a contract with Black River Entertainment.  She released her first single entitled Love Me Like You Mean It and her first extended play ep in 2014 and released her debut album in 2015.   Kelsea Ballerini continues to record music and tour to support her music at this exact moment of time.
