Earth Day was yesterday and before that was Easter Sunday. And now with both holidays in the rear view mirror, life returns to normal. Being a Liberal believes in GOD, but doesn't believe in the Book of Revelation (But is willing to tolerate the rest of the Holy Bible aside from that), I enjoy Earth Day a lot more than Easter. Though it's possible that Jesus Christ died for our sins, we can't keep wrecking the Earth thinking that Jesus will only destroy what we didn't wreck on our own and give us a new Earth to wreck as a reward for trashing this version of Earth. We need to learn to function in this Earth that we got right now. Squandering natural resources and driving endangered species of wildlife because we have a mandate from GOD to do so as a reward for physical and mental superiority won't be enough. We need to protect endangered wildlife while we still can. We need to protect the Earth while we still can. And if there really is GOD, then I'm sure GOD would also believe that Earth Day is essential to keep us all on track. Anyway, Happy Easter and Happy Earth Day. Winter is gone and Easter is here. Let's see what happens now that the sun has set and night has spread across the land.
