Today is the day that I know that Winter has arrived. There's fresh snow to replace the snow that is already starting to melt. There is the very realistic threat of slipping on ice. Instead of mowing the lawn, there's the need to shovel snow from the driveway. There's the threat of cars slipping and sliding on the ice if the car is traveling too fast. You find yourself walking through the snow. Either that or you find yourself walking through the freezing rain. And the biggest moment when you realize that Winter has arrived is this---Christmas is almost here and you suddenly realized how quickly time has flown past. Time is moving much too quickly sometimes.
