AKWARD CONVERSATION TOPICS

Jessica Chastain, Kate Winslet, Margot Robbie, Diane Kruger, Saoirse Ronan and Annette Bening got together for a roundtable conversation one day.

Kate Winslet, Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan in particular were having a good conversation.  That was it was a good conversation until Kate started talking at great length about how wonderful it was to work with Hollywood filmmaker Woody Allen.  Suddenly the room got silent.  Margot and Saoirse tried to be polite with their displeasure regarding Kate's praise for Woody Allen, but it was getting harder the longer Kate kept praising Woody Allen's filmmaking.

Jessica Chastain, Annette Bening and Diane Kruger sat opposite Kate while she was praising Woody Allen.  All three of them had an interesting expression on their faces regarding the praise Kate had about filmmaker Woody Allen.

 

Needless to say, the rest of the afternoon was kind of awkward for poor Kate Winslet.

Allow me to provide some background.  Woody Allen is a genius filmmaker who essentially makes films identical to the films that Adam Sandler makes, but he does so in a pretentious manner.  He started doing theater in 1960 and he's been acting and directing his own films nonstop since 1965.  He married Harlene Susan Rosen on 1956 and he divorced her in 1962.  He married Louise Lasser on 1966 and he divorced her on 1970.   He had a common law marriage to Diane Keaton from 1970 to 1971.  And his common law marriage to Mia Farrow between 1980 and 1992 that got him into trouble.  It was trouble because he had sexual intercourse with Mia Farrow's adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn while he had a non-binding common law marriage to Mia Farrow.  So then he married Soon-Yi Previn in 1997 and he's been married to her ever since.  Soon-Yi Previn never called the cops, but Mia Farrow did telephone the police.  And Woody Allen has been estranged from some of the children he had with Mia Farrow.  Anyway, Woody Allen is still making films because this was the first and only time he had sex with underage girls and he eventually married her.  And also, Kate Winslet is starring in Woody Allen's latest film Wonder Wheel which she is now required to promote because of her starring role in that film.  And she tossed in a Wonder Wheel advertisement while hanging out with Jessica Chastain, Margot Robbie, Diane Kruger, Saoirse Ronan and Annette Bening. 

MARIA KANELLIS VERSES DONALD TRUMP (ALSO ENTITLED LOCKER ROOM TALK)

Billy Bush, Donald Trump and Days of Our Lives soap opera actress Arianne Zucker in the controversial news clip that's ruining the careers of Billy Bush and Donald Trump.

Way back on Unknown Day, Unknown Month, 2005, Republican Party Candidate for President of the United States Donald Trump and television reporter and Bush Family member Billy Bush has made about Billy Bush's Access Hollywood Co-Worker at the time Nancy O'Dell and Days of Our Lives TV show actress Arianne Zucker. Despite the fact that the conversation going on between Donald Trump and Billy Bush sounded dangerously like rape and sexual assault, the Donald dismissed it as "Locker Room Talk". "Locker Room Talk" is perfectly alright, even in the corporate boardroom according to the Donald. But the Donald didn't always feel that way.

Let's also look backwards in time to March 14, 2010 to May 23, 2010 (The filming dates were October 19, 2009 to November 12, 2009. There were five Celebrity contestants left in the Season 3 of Celebrity Apprentice (Season 9 of the United States of America version of the Apprentice overall). World Wrestling Entertainment athlete (Who released a four song rock album EP entitled Seven Sins on April 13, 2010) named Maria Kanellis was being grilled by Donald Trump. Donald Trump was host of that episode of Celebrity Apprentice while his children Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump were the cohosts. The episode took place in Trump Towers. Why was the Donald grilling Maria Kanellis? The Donald was grilling Maria Kanellis because she was using locker room talk in the boardroom. What did the Donald say while he was grilling Maria Kanellis? He was saying, "This is my Boardroom. This is not a locker room. Maria, you're fired."
So essentially, it's ok for guys to engage in locker room talk that suggested rape and sexual assault while in the boardroom because it's guys being guys while in the locker room. But it's not ok for women to engage in locker room talk, not suggesting rape, not suggesting sexual assault, not saying the word crap, not saying the word shit, no locker room talk of any sort. So for the Donald, being allowed to say locker room talk in the Boardroom, be forgiven and still get elected President of the United States is ok for men, but never for women. It's kind of a disturbing double standard, don't you think?

Maria Kanellis might still be shaken by the fact that she was punished by Donald Trump for locker room talk in the boardroom, but the Donald was perfectly fine with Billy Bush going overboard with locker room talk in the Access Hollywood tour bus workplace environment.  If Maria Kanellis is shaken by such a cruel double standard, then she's trying to cope the best way she knows how.

COMIC STRIPS, COMIC BOOKS AND COMICS

Instead of showing pictures of famous women, allow me to show you comic strips instead.  I'm not sure if you've heard of the Liberal orientated comic strip Doonsbury.  Doonsbury is essentially a historical novel being told in comic strip form.  You see, there's a group of people who used to be Liberal Democratic Party hippies (Except for a former football player turned physically handicapped army veteren as the only Conservative Republican who isn't heckled) who graduate the fictional Walden College for the difficulties of adulthood.  And like any well written historical novel, these former residents of a hippie commune end up in every major historical event from the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's and 2010's too.  Doonsbury author and artist Gary Tradeau is the lawfully wedded spouse of former television journalist Jane Pauley.  So let's return to the adventures of Mike Doonsbury, Kim Doonsbury, B.D., Mark, Zonker, Roland, Duke, Honey Huan, Earl and the rest of the Doonsbury Gang as they make fun of Republican President of the United States candidate Mitt Romney.
