THOR: RAGNAROK

I'm not sure how much Stan Lee knew about Ancient Norwegian Mythology when he started to write the comic book series Thor all the way back in August 1962.  The comic book version of Thor first appeared in the comic book Journey into Mystery #83.   Even if Stan Lee's knowledge of Ancient Norwegian Mythology was kind of dicey at best, the comic book series Thor has been in almost nearly non-stop continuous publication since 1962.  So clearly something about the hammer throwing Norwegian GOD of Thunder made a huge cultural impact in the world of comic books to some extent.  And the first two installments of the Thor film series made it possible for the third installment entitled Thor:  Ragnarok to be released on November 3, 2017.  It's starting to look as if Thor has become an open ended film series that could rival that of Batman and Superman.  And who knows, it might get some people to start reading the actual Ancient Norwegian Mythology tales which inspired Stan Lee to write the comic book in the first place all the way back in 1962,
Tessa Thompson as the first African-American (She's also part European and part Mexican) woman to play Brynhildr aka Valkyrie (Public domain Ancient Norwegian Mythology:  She's often depicted as beach blonde, blue eyed, Caucasian and living in Norway.  Richard Wagner wrote about her in his Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung) German Opera series) and Chris Hemsworth as Thor (Another public domain Ancient Norwegian Mythological character).

Tessa Thompson as Brynhildr aka Valkyrie

Cate Blanchett as Hela (Based on a public domain Ancient Norwegian Mythology Goddess of the Underworld Hel)

Tom Hiddleston as Loki (Another public domain Ancient Norwegian Mythology Deity).  You too can write your own Thor movie, book and/or musical/opera.  Richard Wagner did it without getting sued by Disney (Of course, it helps that he died in 1883 (Forty years before Disney even got started)).
Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster (Disney (Which purchased and owns Marvel Comics) exclusively owns the legal rights to this character)
Mark Ruffalo as Dr.  David Bruce Banner aka the Hulk is stuck on the planet Sakaar with Thor (Who lost his magic hammer and now must fight evil without it).  Those who provoke the Incredible Hulk---The vengeful temper tantrum throwing bright green Golem ends up learning an important lesson that they will never forget (Assuming they survive).  Don't get him angry.  You don't want to see him when he gets angry.

RAIN ONCE MORE

It has rained in Cleveland, Ohio for a while.  And then it stopped raining.  It might rain again or perhaps it won't rain again.  It was bound to rain sooner or later.  I guess the rain chose to arrive sooner rather than laer.  And the ducks, fish and the outdoor plants said, "Hurray" as the rain fell from the sky.  And there is a clear blue sky above the clouds.  But I can't see the clear blue sky with the clouds overhead.  However, the ducks, fish and outdoor plants love coudy skies and the rain that sometimes comes with cloudy skies.  So the cloudy skies are done for the benifit of the ducks, fish and the outdoor plants.  And for that reason alone, today is a very pleasent positive day.
And as I'm lost in thought in the pouring rain, here are some photos of actress Jennifer Garner.
