GOING FROM THE NEW GUY TO THE NEW GIRL

It's hard to believe that Zooey Deschanel ever had anything other than long black hair complete with bangs.  But before Zooey Deschanel charmed everybody with She & Him albums and starred in the television series the New Girl as well as starring in movies and mini series such as Tin Man, Yes Man and (500) Days of Summer...

 ...Zooey Deschanel totally rocked the chin length blonde hair look.   In the 2002 theatrical motion picture the New Guy, Zooey Deschanel was a grunge rocking high school girl named Nora who is in danger of losing the love of her life Dizzy Gillespie Harrison/Gil Harris aka the New Guy played by D.J. Qualls to a personality transplant in a successful bid to become popular without her.  And though Zooey Deschanel loses the New Guy forever, we always knew that the New Girl was better off without the New Guy in her life.  Who knows, the New Girl will eventually find somebody better to spend her time with.
