Selena Gomez was in a tough situation. Her Lupus disease had advanced so badly that one of her kidneys was damaged beyond repair. There were two options available. Selena could either get dialysis or she could get a kidney transplant. One of her best friends forever Francia Raisa offered to donate one of her kidneys to be transplanted into Selena Gomez. So off the two women went to the hospital for a kidney transplant surgery with Francia Raisa as the kidney donator and Selena Gomez as the kidney transplant surgery recipient. And they both held hands with each other after a successful hospital kidney transplant surgery to cement the bond the two women have for each other.
