The Fall Television Season can be a lot of fun. Part of the fun is trying to guess which of the new television shows is going to make it and which of the new television shows will be canceled before Springtime next year. Part of the suspense is that television shows you're convinced isn't going to make it ends up making it and shows you're convinced is going to make it ends up not making it. Of course, you can try to keep your show alive by wearing tin foil hats and doing weird ritualistic dances. But the actual way to keep your favorite show alive is to watch your favorite show and talk about it on twitter. One of those new shows is the second volume of the February 24, 1975
(1975-02-24) to April 3, 1976 spinoff of the television show
The Rookies entitled
S.W.A.T. as well as the television series continuation of the 2003 theatrical motion picture also entitled
S.W.A.T.. It should be interesting to note that the 1975 version of Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson was Caucasian while the 2003 and the 2017 version of Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson is African-American. The 2017 version of
S.W.A.T. is closer to the 2003 version of
S.W.A.T. and further from the 1975 version of
S.W.A.T. while
the Rookies (Which
S.W.A.T. originated from) hasn't seen the light of day. Oh yeah, there are two direct to video film sequels with severely different cast of characters and severely different character names entitled
S.W.A.T.: Firefight (Released in 2011) and
S.W.A.T.: Under Siege (Released in 2017). Still, the new television series version of
S.W.A.T. should be an interesting show to watch on television. I can't wait for the pilot episode to make it's premier.
And as I'm lost in thought in the Autumn, here are some photos of the following individuals.
