THE SOUND OF TWISTED METAL AND CRASHING AIRPLANES

The largest privately owned airline operating in Indonesia is called PT Lion Mentari Airlines also known as Lion Air.  And one of Lion Airlines airplanes was on the way to the island of Bali, Indonesia when it missed the runway and crashed into the Java Sea.  There were injuries, but not deaths has been reported yet.  All of the injured were Indonesian citizens except for two Singaporeans and one French born person.  Forty-five (45) people were injured when the Lion Airlines airplane crashed into the Java Sea on Saturday, April 13, 2013.  Rain and cloudy weather were to blame for the Lion Airplane missing the runway by 50 meters (164 feet).
