AFTER THE RAIN FELL

Gentle Reader, it rained a few minutes ago.  And the way it was raining with loud crashing thunder gave me the impression that it would last a few hours.  Instead, the fierce pounding rain and the loud crashing thunder only lasted roughly thirty minutes and then it was gone.  And soon it was as if there was never a thunderstorm to start with.  It's hard to keep track of the weather sometimes.  And it's easy to keep track of the weather sometimes.  However, the weather can be fantastic in the summer after the rain.  And the rain helps keep the drought away.  Plus, farmers loves the rain.  Fish, ducks and outdoor plants loves the rain too.  And so after the rain, the Gentle Reader and I stepped outside to enjoy the great outdoors.
